Robinson Lifter Sets Record

With the colder weather bearing down on Central Texas, last Saturday's Girls' Regional Championship Powerlifting Meet was moved to Monday night.  Eight lifters made the trip to Gatesville High School.  While all Robinson lifters competed very well, one Rocket's effort was record-breaking. The 2013 legislative session brought many changes for school districts.  Included in HB5 is the community and student engagement component as a local evaluation tool. In RISD,district and campus site based decision making committees created criteria and evaluated programs as an opportunity for us to showcase areas of excellence as well as recognize areas in need of improvement and set future goals valued in the community.
