We are stunned and deeply saddened to inform you that one of our high school students passed away today. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.  We want to make sure every student receives the support and assistance he or she needs to cope with this loss. Freshman Wins 3rd at State

Wingate Finishes the Year With a Stellar 40-4 Record

RHS freshman, Noah Wingate, ended a remarkable first year of varsity competition by claiming a 3rd place finish at the 2015 Texas UIL State Tennis Tournament in College Station on May 13. (full story)

Field Day (2015)


Robinson Primary held their spring Field Day on Friday, May 8 and the rain stayed away long enough for Kindergarten and First Graders, parents, staff and volunteers to have a very successful day.

Sports Physicals (2015-2016)


Parents/Guardian: Every year the UIL requires athletes to complete the attached packet. Athletes are not allowed to participate in practices or try-outs without the paperwork being completed and turned in. Physicals are REQUIRED for all athletes entering the 7th, 9th and 11th grades. Special Summer Program

Limited English Proficient Students Summer School

Robinson ISD will offer summer school to Limited English Proficient students who live in our district and will enter K or 1st grade this fall.  The program will only be offered if 10 or more students register. Call Susan Stevens at 662-5000 before 5/25/15.

 If you are planning to enroll your student for the fall of 2015, please wait until July to register.

Robinson ISD is pleased to announce that parents/guardians will register their children, whether new to RISD or are a returning student, using an online process.


Student Transfer Information

A limited number of transfers will be approved this year for Grades K – 12. Transfers will be reviewed and considered in the order they are received in our office.


Backpack Information (2014-2015)


Robinson ISD strives to provide a learning environment free from disruption. It is our goal to send home and/or make available to students and parents only information which has been approved for display or distribution in accordance with policy GKDA (local).


Summer Sports Camp (2015)

The 2013 legislative session brought many changes for school districts.  Included in HB5 is the community and student engagement component as a local evaluation tool. In RISD,district and campus site based decision making committees created criteria and evaluated programs as an opportunity for us to showcase areas of excellence as well as recognize areas in need of improvement and set future goals valued in the community.
