REF Board Member Spotlight
Lacy Theobald, VP of Development
Lacy Theobald has served on the board of the Robinson Education Foundation since 2021. She is currently serving as VP of Development and is responsible for leading the organization and planning of the Rocket Gala for 2023. Lacy is an LCSW-S who works as a mental health therapist in private practice in Waco serving children, adults, and families. Lacy lives in Robinson with her husband, Wesley, and two children, Copeland and Clayton, who both attend Robinson ISD schools.
Lacy joined the board because she believes in the mission of REF “to generate and distribute resources to the Robinson Independent School District to enrich and expand programs needed to meet the District’s stated mission and promote excellence in education.” Lacy has witnessed first-hand the ways in which REF continues to fulfill its mission as both of her children have been a part of classrooms that have benefited directly from grants funded by REF.
