Today begins our last week of CTE Month. As we continue to celebrate, we want to recognize Mrs. Linda Daugherty. Mrs. Daugherty is in her first year of teaching in CTE. She teaches our Counseling & Mental Health courses as well as our Principles of Education and Instructional Practices courses. The Counseling & Mental Health course is in our Law pathway. The Principles of Education and Instructional Practices courses are in our Teaching and Training pathway. Mrs. Daugherty’s Instructional Practices students spend time at the Primary, Elementary, and Intermediate campuses working in classrooms with our younger students. Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Daugherty and her contributions to our CTE program.

How were the proposed project for construction determined?
The district, in collaboration with the Board of Trustees, teachers, parents, students, and administrators, worked through the facilities planning committee to identify projects. The committee reviewed existing facilities, program growth, and district priorities to develop a list of considerations for a bond package.

Today, for CTE Month, we are recognizing Coach Zach Northern, one of our Business teachers. Coach Northern is in his first year of teaching in CTE. The Business courses fall into our Business Management Program of Study. Coach Northern’s BIM students learn how to use Microsoft applications in order to function more efficiently in the business world. He also teaches the introductory course in the Business pathway, in which students are learning about all of the aspects of the business world. Please join us in celebrating Coach Northern and his contributions to our CTE program.




Today, we want to celebrate CTE Month and FFA week by recognizing Mrs. Jill Clark. Mrs. Clark has been teaching in CTE for 14 years. She is also a product of the Robinson CTE and Ag program as she is an RHS graduate. Mrs. Clark is our Floral Design, Small Animal Management, and Equine Science teacher. The Small Animal and Equine classes are both in the Animal Science pathway. The Floral Design classes are in our Plant Science pathway. Mrs. Clark also oversees Rocket Roses, which is a student group in charge of the beautiful floral arrangements that are delivered monthly and often requisitioned for events. Please help us in celebrating Mrs. Clark and her contributions to our CTE program.
